Behind the scenes, a typical setup includes:
- A UniFi Console running UniFi Protect
- UniFi Protect Cameras
- Properly sized storage disks (for recording)
Wired cameras require Power over Ethernet (PoE). We handle PoE switch
sizing and installation as part of the deployment.
Storage disks are required only for recording and do not affect live viewing.
Camera capacity depends on the UniFi Console selected and your performance and retention requirements.
At Central Georgia Technology, we:

For large environments, UniFi NVR Pro systems support:

*Central Georgia Technology do provide continous support for all cameras and the network. Should a camera go down we will come out and fix it at no cost and if it is not fixable we will replace it at no charge. This service do that a minimal monthly fee.
Absolutely. The UniFi Protect AI Port enables most legacy or specialty third-party cameras to gain UniFi Protect’s advanced AI detection capabilities.
Each AI Port supports up to 5 cameras, depending on resolution and camera type.
Third-party (ONVIF) cameras:
